TIA, TEM TRACINHO?
Resumo
In order to achieve the tasks I had put forward in the research project “Literacies, oralities and schools: a comparative ethnographic study”, I participated for five months the daily life of a group of kids in their process of acquiring literacy in a public school located in the outskirts of Cuiabá. I observed the interaction between the social actors - the teacher and the students - in relation to the acquisition process of writing. I specifically focused on teacher´s mediation in her attempt to help the kids acquire the essential skills in the use of writing. In this study, I collected and described events in which the teacher attempts to help the kids segment the flow of oral discourse into units, that is, how the kids put the words into space.Downloads
