Abstract

This article investigates representations about teachers, constructed and published in Veja São Paulo Magazine. Thus, we analyzed the text "Didática do Sexo", by Walcyr Carrasco, to find linguistic-discursive marks that allow us to detect characteristics of this professional and of his/her acting in work situation. We based our analysis on ISD perspective (Bronckart, 2004; 2006) combined with concepts about teaching work, developed by Ergonomics of Activity (Amigues, 2004; Saujat, 2004; Faïta, 2004) and by the Activity Clinic (Clot, 2006). The results show a teacher in loneliness, without support neither of the school principal or coordinator nor parents or students.
