AS RELAÇÕES ENTRE TEXTO, DISCURSO E GÊNERO: UMA ANÁLISE ILUSTRATIVA

Abstract

This article aims to exemplify some relevant relationships linking text, discourse and genre by applying the proposal for analysis developed in the author’s doctorate thesis, based on Bakhtinian thinking, to the cover of a self-help book (which in the thesis was examined with other 3) in order to gather some data for showing that these concepts are constitutively and inseparably linked in Bakhtin’s genre theory.
