Abstract

This study aimed to present activities in the classroom, implemented through practical workshops extension, developed after preliminary studies on the subject interdisciplinary. For this was initially done research on what activities could be implemented that addressed aspects of Visual Arts interwoven with threads of Plane Geometry and Spatial within the exploration of mathematics in initial academic. Among the activities presented include Origami, since the development of this art led to the execution of various figures which stimulated the development of observation, especially manual skill and creativity. This selection was origamista developed a methodological perspective of discovered concepts previously determined, we believe that being able to contribute to the formation of autonomous individuals, creative and capable of learning to learn. .Na analysis was possible to verify the possibility of entanglement of Visual Arts with Mathematics as well as the sharing of ideas taking shape as a new methodological thinking by students in initial training academic.
