Abstract

This article seeks to address the practice of interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity in design, focusing on the difficulty of teaching collaboration in creative teams. As in the 21st century, professionals in this area will need to be open to work with other areas of expertise, and develop new skills, such as collaboration, systems thinking, resilience, etc., it is proposed the possibility of designers look up into informal creative practices of the samba schools, which for years have managed to bring together several types of knowledge of various social groups in the realization of the great popular celebration that is the Brazilian carnival.
