THE GREAT TRANSFORMATION: equality

Abstract

This text is intended to reflect the writings of Espírito Santo (2015). One of the moments of transformation concerns the issue of equality. We will examine the discriminations that are infiltrating our existence, both making us discriminated and discriminators. Above all, it proposes questions and reflections. There will be religious, racial, sexual, economic and other issues that may lead to marginalization. Today it is present in Education what we call ‘Inclusion’, which is moving in the direction of transformation here pointed out. It should be noteced that much of the violence in schools, for example, bullying is the fruit of discrimination that has not yet been worked out. It will be fundamental the educator´s perception in the sense that each student is unique and should be included without distinction or discrimination.
