O olhar da imprensa escrita para o envelhecimento e previdência realizado pelo grupo de pesquisa Longevidade, Envelhecimento e Comunicação abre novos caminhos para a reflexão ao identificar tendências do jornalismo impresso da cidade de São Paulo quanto à percepção da velhice. Este artigo apresenta uma análise sobre os aspectos previdenciários cobertos pelos jornais impressos da metrópole, os quais trazem sistematicamente o tema Previdência/Aposentadoria, tal o grau de interação do assunto com questões sócio-econômicas nacionais.
