Abstract

This study analyzes the personal social networks of individuals belonging to families with members in four generations. Data were collected through IARSP-R, administered to 92 individuals from 23 multigenerational families. The main results indicate that: there are differences in morphology/structural characteristics of the network depending on the generations; functional content/network support remain from adulthood; generational contiguity assume great importance in multigenerational families.
