Abstract

This article explores the ideas behind a series of speeches that are part of the implementation of public policies that include senior body practices and build a particular social representation of old age. In the analyzed program documents are not taken into account the subjective and collective meanings that operate in those who go through such programs. The body practices aimed at this age group are installed by makers like utilitarian goods for achieving good longevity and good channeling.
