Abstract

The text is a short rehearsal of that the day of the dead in Mexico. This date is experienced with joy, many flowers, food, and grinning skulls sugar; ridiculed and celebrated with songs, prayers and alcoholic beverages. We assume the celebration of Day of the Dead has the idea in the popular imagination, that the deads do not die completely, just went to another side of life. The festival marks the festival calendar of popular culture in Mexico, celebrated in a way so special and unique. Mix well the sacred and the profane, fear and irony, through the religious syncretism.
