Identify the meanings and perceptions of changes in appearance as a result from the engagement in a Senior Center. Using quantitative and ethnographic methods. The meaning of appearance is related to health and well-being. There are perceived positive changes in appearance after engagement, motivated by the institutional interaction. The study shows social engagement and attention to appearance as promoters of well-being in this case study.Downloads
