Evaluation of diet quality elderly in Brazil: scientific production on the subject

An integrative literature review was conducted in order to characterize the research conducted in Brazil on the quality of the diet of elderly. Bibliographical survey national publications in nutrition, from 2000 to 2012 in LILACS and SciELO, .18 scientific articles were identified. The results indiced that the diet quality index revised (IQD-R) was most used tool for data collection. Should emphasize the importance of further studies on diet quality to contribute to the identification of priorities in public policies for this population.Downloads
