Aging and family contexts: perspectives on the family in the XXI century and the inclusion of professional care in this relational human structure

This study reflects on the politics of attention and professional training within the health sciences with regard to human aging and the relational family context, with emphasis on the impact of chronic conditions in the process of living by the human family. The study searches the theoretical reflection with sensitivity and vocational guidance towards the promotion of the health of people within the National Health System, in order to ascend the discussions on scientific knowledge; disciplining of knowledge; health programs; incidence and worsening of chronic conditions in the Brazilian population; new family configurations; and interdisciplinarity. It also highlights the integration of critical thinking by reflective professional according to the guidelines and bases of National Education in the amplitude range of the focus, through the integration of thinking-acting by the many configurations of families within the XXI century.
