Abstract

The present study aims to evaluate comparatively the quality of life in active, insufficiently active seniors. The study included 60 older adults. To analyze the quality of life we used the SF-36 instrument, which showed differences between groups in all fields, and the group of active seniors showed better values. Thus, physical activity proves efficient in promoting healthy aging, maintaining the health and quality of life.
