Abstract

The elderly process proposes new challenges. The elderly living will be discussed. The overload in family nucleous direct for the necessity in institutions service. The work about management in psycogerontology services in institutions aimed the humanization of elderly care, families and health professionals. The construction of a new project of life in institutions promotes a better quality of life to elderly, as well as to their families and health professionals.

Graduação em Psicologia pela PUC-SP. Especialização em Gerontologia Social pelo Sedes Sapientae. Aprimoramento em Psicogerontologia pelo Cogeae/PUC-SP. Mestre em Gerontologia pela PUC-SP. Consultora em gestão de serviços psicogerontológicos em ILPI e Centro-Dia. Psicoterapeuta e Orientadora familiar.

 

Ruth Gelehrter da Costa Lopes, PUC-SP

Graduação em Psicologia pela PUC-SP. Especialização em Gerontologia Social pela Sedes Sapientiae; Mestrado em Psicologia (Psicologia Social) pela PUC-SP. Doutorado em Saúde Pública pela Universidade de São Paulo. Atualmente é pesquisador-associado da PUC-SP, Docente, Pesquisadora e Orientadora do PEPG em Gerontologia/PUC-SP.
