Mapping of occupational therapy practice for older adults with Alzheimer's Disease and their caregivers

This paper aimed analyze the scientific production of occupational therapists with older adults with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers. A integrative literature review was conducted, in a 10 years period and 8 database. We identified 79 articles and the occupational therapy practice was organized in a concept map. It’s noted the concern with the quality of life of the dyad. In the intervention, there is evidence of benefits for older adults and caregivers when conducting training for family members, environmental modifications and cognitive interventions.
