The aim of this study was to evaluate the morphological and functional changes before the application of overload on the body, through the use of a resistance training program for elderly and the influence of this training on their lives. Through the analyzed findings we can infer that the proposed methodology used, provided an improvement in strength in the stress test in one repetition maximum (1RM) in the bench press exercise, the squat test with body weight run for 1 minute, also occurring changes significant morphological.
