This article aims: (i) to present work relations that emerged from the process of flexibility labour markets in the 90 and the distinction between the processes of flexibility, deregulation and news precarious labor relations, understood by most authors as part of the neoliberal reforms of the last decades of the twentieth century. This distinction is necessary because, in Brazil, labor relations are rigidly regulated since the promulgation of the Consolidation of Labor Laws in 1943 and have always been precarious; (ii) to present social security reforms undertaken by governments Fernando Henrique Cardoso and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and the new reform bill and its impact on the calculation of the value of retirement in the context of the changes of working conditions that made new labor relations.
