Abstract

The primary objective of this paper is to discuss what home care, and more specifically home care differs from “attention” offered during hospitalization of elderly patients, and as caregivers of the elderly, whether home or hospital caregivers, are influenced by place where the elderly is. For this we will briefly describe how to characterize these types of care, who are the elderly assisted. We will also discuss what, in general, differs in attendance, regarding interpersonal relationships among those living with hospitalized elderly: is at home, is in the hospital.
