This research aims to study the daily lives of older residing in ruralareas, through ethnographic field research. The results indicate, not necessarily, as wassupposed, a standardization of specific tasks for men and women; there is a perceivedlack of internalisation of symbolic values arising from capitalism that understands theold as "disposable" and "useless", but rather, there is a growing role of them before theage of reality.Downloads
