Conceptions of Spirituality and Religiosity and Multidisciplinary Practice in Palliative Care

We sought to identify the conceptions of spirituality and religiosity and its interface with the multidisciplinary practice in palliative care through a transversal study between palliative care professionals team of a major hospital located in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. The evaluated professionals considered that spirituality and religiosity establish much influence on health and considered themselves ill-prepared to approach spirituality in patient care.
