Senior practitioners of Hatha Yoga: Evaluation of the Quality of Life related to Health

The aim of this study was to assess the quality of life related to health of elderly practitioners of Hatha Yoga. This study was done with 29 elderly practitioners of Hatha Yoga. The elderly were interviewed with the application of a characterization tool and the SF-36. The results show good average scores of HRQoL in the categories of the instrument used. The conclusion, therefore, is that the elderly practitioners of Hatha Yoga had higher average scores of HRQoL, except for the dimensions Pain and Vitality.
