Prevalence of frailty phenotype and risk factors in Brazilian older adults: a review of literature

To identify studies addressing the prevalence and factors associated with frailty phenotype in Brazilian elderly. Systematic review, held in databases Scielo, Lilacs and MEDLINE. It was observed that 80% of scientific production occurred in 2012 in University Hospitals, long-stay institutions for the elderly and community. The diversity of locations where studies are conducted allowed visualize the health of a variety of seniors.
