Abstract

How do we read the narratives of aging in the production of social gerontology? And this production points to what trends? How can these narratives translate in a better way of living? These inquiries acted as guide to the post-doctorate documentary research that mapped the academic production in the areas that crisscross the trends of social gerontology through the collection of 27 editions of the Kairos Gerontology Journal, space of communication, continued and citizen education, in the period 2010-2014.

Beltrina Côrte

Jornalista, Doutorado e Pós-Doc em Ciências da Comunicação pela USP, Docente do Programa de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Gerontologia da PUC-SP e Coordenadora do Grupo de Pesquisa certificado pelo CNPq “Longevidade, Envelhecimento e Comunicação”. Integra a Rede Iberoamericana de Psicogerontologia (REDIP). Editora de conteúdo do Portal do Envelhecimento e do Portal Edições.
