This study aims to analyze the perception of the identity of the oldest old. This is an exploratory-descriptive qualitative research, using the technique of oral history and NVivo software for data analysis. Analysis revealed three themes: The young spirit: the relationship body and mind; appearance: Current image vs image of the past and the care of the body and appearance. Given the findings of this research we can say that we are faced with a new look for old age and a new identity of the oldest old.
