Abstract

The film Kirschblüten-Hanami, a German production (2008), directed by Doris Dorrier, portrays the perfect setting for the understanding and their complex tangles, which are perpetuated and beyond the temporality and finitude. A deep and sensitive plot about the German and Japanese cultures, from Jungian psychology, provides a delicate understanding of the issues related to metanoia.
