The looks of the professionals on the Physical Activity Programs for Older People

The regular practice of PA in the 3rd age has benefits in terms of quality of life, health and well being. The aim of this article characterize the goals of the FAP, the benefits perceived by technicians, involved human resources in the program and the existence of the evaluation as a way of improving the service provided. The sample consists of 11 professionals from 8 institutions in the district of Aveiro (Portugal) with responsibilities in the development of FAP, respondents through semi- structured interview. It was found that the analyzed programs have structures similar objectives and activities, and the types of evaluations on which questioned in many cases non-existent.Downloads
