Social and economic resources in oldest old persons: gender differences

Descriptive, cross-sectional study with emphasis on gender differences analysis associated with sociodemographic variables, social and economic resources of oldest old persons using the Questionnaire of Functional and Multidimensional Assessment of Older Adults (QAFMI/OARS). The results distinguished women in relation to men, with worse scores in the studied functional areas, highlighting women with lower literacy levels, marital status of widowhood and lowest economic resources.
