Abstract

It was aimed to investigate the Brazilian scientific production on resilience issues and the elderly in the last fifteen years - from 2000 to 2015 in which it was found twelve studies on this matter. Most of these studies consider the development of relevant resiliency features for the elderly face the adversities of aging healthily. It is emphasized the importance of support network and spaces that offer security and stability and strengthen the elderly in their physical, intellectual and emotional autonomy.
