Autonomy in daily life activities: Elderly practitioners assessment of physical exercise

Descriptive study of older people who do regular exercise in order to verify the levels of autonomy to perform basic and instrumental activities of daily living. It was found maintaining the autonomy of the elderly, since all remain independent for basic activities and 23% had partial dependence for the instrumental activities of daily living. Regular physical exercise favored maintaining good levels of autonomy and contributes to healthy aging.
