Difficulties in the adherence to the nutritional treatment in elderly hypertensive

This study aimed to describe the interfering difficulties in adhering to the nutritional treatment of elderly hypertensive patients. It was an integrative review of Portuguese in articles published from 2006 to 2013 in Brazil. Analysis of the articles suggests that the issues on compliance to the nutritional treatment of elderly hypertensive patients have intense relationship with environmental, emotional and social factors.
