A look at visual impairment and lifelong physical activity

This study aimed to report the life story of a congenital blind sixty-four, born in northern Portugal. An interview was applied, the data were transcribed and analyzed in categories for reflection: sensorimotor experiences, falls and traumatic injuries throughout life, difficulties in orientation and mobility and physical activity. The results suggest the importance of conducting activities adapted so that the individual is able to succeed stimulating progression and autonomy throughout life.
