The approach to themes such as music, citizenship and temporality is characterized by its complexity, resulting from the continuous recomposition of the articulations of these components in the perspective of their historical-cultural development, considering the local and global dimension. History, in particular, is understood as an uninterrupted succession of facts that mark the evolution of humanity, which must be understood in its plurality and in its dialectical sense. This study emerges in this context with the objective of understanding the process of resignification of old age and the exercise of citizenship in the kairosian conception, taking into account the mediating role of music in the life of the elderly, and the resonance of its comprehensiveness in biological aspects, psychological and politico-social.
