Chair stand test, timed up and go, and the 6-minute walk test are often used in clinical and scientific settings. However, cardiovascular responses to these tests require investigation. Thus, the objective of the present study was to evaluate the behavior of heart rate, blood pressure and respiratory rate after the tests. Our findings demonstrate that the investigated tests promote only modest cardiorespiratory changes in the elderly.
