This article aimed to analyze the perception of the elderly about the care provided by the nurse regarding the prevention of falls. An exploratory descriptive study of a qualitative nature was carried out. The study showed that the attention given by nurses is insufficient since only 15% of the elderly received guidance from this professional about falls that can occur to them in their daily lives. Still, many of the interviewees expressed fear of this fall accident, and they showed a willingness to receive health guidance.Downloads
