Abstract

The present study analyzed the qualification of caregivers of patients with Alzheimer's diagnosis about the psychological aspects and their impacts on the caregivers' trajectory. For this, semi-directed interviews with five caregivers of Alzheimer patients were performed. The results pointed out the lack of knowledge about the disease, triggering, as a consequence, the difficulty of dealing with the sick person in the face of conflicts that occur in daily life.
