Abstract

The present work seeks to know the quality of life of the elderly; within their residence, identifying their daily life activities and degree of independence; linked to Family Health Strategy Units, in a municipality in the Metropolitan Region of Vale do Paraíba, SP. The instrument of data collection used was Easy Care, a questionnaire that evaluates quality of life in the elderly. The evaluation pointed to independence and autonomy of the elderly, and satisfaction with the care received by the ESF.
