Elderly, Applications and Smartphone: an integrative review

ABSTRACT: This article intends to analyze research already consolidated, of national and international scope, on the ICTs, made available on smartphones directed to elderly users. The methodology uses an integrative review with publications between 2009 and 2018, based on indexed data such as: SCOPUS, Journal Citation Reports (JCR), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Google Scholar, from the IT area related to the Human Interface area-Computer. Among the results, the following stand out: the analysis and systematization of 23 studies and their categorization into: a) studies developed to benefit the health of the elderly; and b) research on the usability evaluation of Smartphones and applications for the elderly user, according to the context in which they were analyzed, developed or evaluated.
