Illiteracy and cognitive decline: an impasse for the appropriate medication use in elderly in the family context

Given the pathologies that come with aging, the use of multiple medications is something common among the elderly. Relating the cognitive decline, illiteracy of the elderly and the need for knowledge of the family are the focus of this study, in order (in view) to prevent the occurrence of iatrogenic events. It suggests that health professionals create playful techniques for assimilation of medicinal therapy with a constructivist approach for apprehension of knowledge.Downloads
