The objective of the study was to verify the style and quality of life and its associations with the burden of informal caregivers of elderly people in post-fall functional dependence. It was a descriptive and cross-sectional study with 40 informal caregivers of elderly people who suffered falls. Data were collected using the following instruments: Fantastic Lifestyle, quality of life by the Form Health Survey: SF-36, caregiver burden by the Caregiver Reaction Assessment (CRA), and Barthel index to verify functionality. Most of the caregivers who participated in the study had a lifestyle considered to be 'good'. In the quality of life, the domains limitations due to emotional aspects, functional capacity and limitations due to physical aspects were the most scored. It was found that the lower the burden, the better the general health status; and the lower the burden, the greater the functional independence of the elderly cared for.
