The objective of this study was to analyze the effects of aerobic training on the blood pressure of elderly people with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. This is a systematic review carried out in the electronic databases and virtual libraries of MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online), LILACS ( Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences) and SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online), with rigor evaluation using the PEDro scale (Physiotherapy Evidence Database), with the PICO strategy (patient, intervention, comparison, outcome) and PRISMA (Main Items for Reporting Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyzes). 707 articles were found, but five were part of the systematic review. Aerobic exercise was not effective in lowering blood pressure in the elderly with Diabetes Mellitus.
