This paper presents a stratification of fragility and independence of some institutionalized data through an observational, cross-sectional quantitative study conducted with 73 elderly, applying the Katz test and the Functional Clinical Vulnerability Index -20. It was identified that the former were dependent on activities of daily living and had high fragility, factors related to the presence of polypathology.
