The aim of this study was to verify the association between postural balance and quality of life of patients with idiopathic Parkinson's disease. This is a cross-sectional study that evaluated elderly people with idiopathic Parkinson's disease through the Schwab & England, Hoenh & Yahr, Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating, MiniBESTest and Parkinson's Disease Questionnaire-39. Unlike other published papers that frequently use the BESTest, we use MiniBESTest that verified that elderly has balance compromised identified in the early stages of the disease, which directly influences the quality of life.
