Survey of femur fractures and death in the elderly from: A quantitative analysis in the Brazilian regions

This study aimed to quantify hospital morbidity and mortality due to femur fractures in the elderly from 2008 to 2018 in Brazil. Using secondary data from DATASUS (Department of Informatics of SUS). The results showed the evolution of the cases in the studied years, growing with increasing age, prevailing in females, white race, in winter and in the southeast region, increasing health expenses in the same proportion as their occurrence in Brazilian regions.
