This study aimed to analyze the values attributed to aging for older choristers. 54 elderly participants of corals (GC) and 25 elderly women whoparticipated in other activities for the elderly that did not involve the use of singingvoice (CNG) answered the question "What is aging." The responses were recorded and later transcribed. This material was subjected to the "floating reading" and then classified into themes that have been described and analyzed statistically. It can be concluded that the choristers attribute positive values to age, mainly characterized by less concern with the physical and mental limitations, the acceptance of the changes associated with aging as a natural process and a positive outlook on their age group.
