Abstract

Around 1972, a psychiatrist who knew Jacques Lacan and Salvador Dalí well, tries to bring them together to share a dinner. They both look delighted. For both, the vicissitudes of their works appear inseparable from the vicissitudes of their lives, being convinced of their respective talents to the point of genius. Both used to refer to themselves in the third person, and managed to convert the noun of their proper names into a qualifying adjective of universal scope ('Lacanian', 'Dalinian').
