Fragilidade Estatal e Vulnerabilidade Climática: há uma relação?

Fragilidade estatal e mudança do clima são fenômenos globais que têm chamado a atenção de especialistas nos últimos anos. O objetivo deste artigo é verificar se existe alguma relação entre o aumento da fragilidade de um Estado e a sua vulnerabilidade climática. Selecionamos dez países que mais aumentaram a sua fragilidade e dez que mais reduziram a sua fragilidade entre 2011 e 2020. Nossa análise combinou dois índices: FSI e ND-GAIN. Concluímos que existe uma relação direta de proporcionalidade entre um aumento ou diminuição do grau de fragilidade de um país e um aumento ou diminuição dos seus graus de vulnerabilidade climática, mas também encontramos algumas exceções que precisamos explicar.
