Between the erosion of care and that of the archive
a Foucauldian inspiration for artistic practices in the context of environmental collapse

This article aims to present articulations between care practices studied by Foucault and archival practices that function as instruments in contemporary art and environmental education. The presentation will take place through the exemplification of a research project on the implementation of an artistic residency in a territory that is experiencing environmental collapse. Atafona beach is the territory from which the development of innovative action research methodologies is presented through crossing ideas from contextual art and practical philosophy.
