Distribuição de recursos para os projetos aprovados no programa municipal de incetivo à cultura de Uberlândia/MG

Abstract

The objective was to analyze the distribution of resources for projects approved in the Municipal Program of Incentive to Culture of Uberlândia/MG between the years 2019 and 2021, a period that contemplates the legislation in force in the municipality. This is a documental and descriptive research carried out from documents made available in the city hall website. It is concluded that the number of projects enrolled and approved for funding by tax incentive decreased year by year, as well as the total resources approved. As for the financing through the Municipal Culture Fund (FMC in Portuguese), there was an increase in the number of applications. The number of projects approved, as well as the resources, increased in 2020 and decreased in 2021. It was also observed that most of the approved projects were large (tax incentive) and medium-sized (FMC), and that, for the tax incentive modality, there was a concentration of resources in the music area, but not with respect to bidders.
