Crítica da modernidade. Tradição, modernidade e pós-modernidade

Abstract

The article presents, briefly, views about tradition, modernity and postmodernity. One focus in the discourse of postmodernism has been the term reflexive modernity used by authors such as Anthony Giddens, Ulrich Beck and Scott Lash to characterize the post-modern or considers contemporary. The text indicates the transition from modernity to postmodernity and tradition as essential to put in speeches. It is a reflection on everyday life and social practices at this moment of transition, ruptures and continuities. There is no consensus in the discussions.
